Youth Re:Action Corps was built on the concept that the world lies in the hands of the young people who will inherit it.
In January of 2005, a team of Arizona State University students rallied around to support the idea of creating a nonprofit organization that not only connected youth to pressing social issues, but empowered them to take part in doing something about it! The team submitted a business proposal to the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative at ASU. The team was awarded startup financial support, office space, and the mentorship of Dr. Lattie Coor, President Emeritus of ASU.
In January of 2006, Youth Re:Action Corps launched its pilot program in the largest school district in Arizona. The organization has a vision to affect change on both a local and global level by launching the program in high schools around the world.
