The Impact

ImageThe vision of sustainable impact that Youth Re:Action Corps hopes to create is multifaceted:

  1. To revolutionize the way youth understand and respond to a world in need of assistance, by providing the schools with a mechanism to talk about international social issues and empower their youth to take action.
  2. For those involved in the Youth Re:Action Corps program to enter a life of civic involvement, operating as change agents in their community, so that they may enter collegiate and professional careers with an awareness that there is a global community in need of assistance and that they can do something about it.
  3. For students to engage their peers in the work they are doing as Youth Re:Action Corps members, so that an increased awareness of our global community may spread through the energy and interaction of young people.
  4. For Corps teams to create solid project proposals, garner the necessary support for their project, and work towards solving an identified problem.
  5. For youth to enter collegiate and professional careers with experience in writing action plans, developing timelines, designing budgets, holding leadership positions and working collaboratively with their peers and community.
  6. For communities surrounding Youth Re:Action Corps groups to engage in the work of young people and invest in their ability to create effective change.
