Mesa Schools Launches Pilot Program Print E-mail

Mesa Public Schools has expressed interest in running the pilot program for the nation in the fall of 2005, one year prior to the initial launch schedule. Mesa Public Schools is the largest school district in the state of Arizona, known for innovative programs and exceptional education. The pilot program is being prepared for a November 2005 launch date at three of Mesa’s senior high schools. This will set the stage for a national launch date in the fall of 2006.

Through an opportunity made possible by the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative at Arizona State University, office space has been provided for Youth Re:Action Corps. It is located right in the heart of Tempe, representative of the youthfulness of our organization.

Youth Re:Action Corps was one of 16 business ventures to gain start-up support through the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative at Arizona State University. The Edson Initiative was made possible by a donation of $5.4 million from Orin and Charlene Edson to the Arizona State University Foundation meant to harness the entrepreneurial energy, excitement and creativity found in ASU’s student body. Youth Re:Action Corps was one of only four nonprofit ventures funded by the Edson Initiative.
